Written by Grammy Pop sensation, Girl Crush, graced the pages of Vogue to People magazine with millions of views & downloads of her sugary sweet music confections; but Crush had a longing for more substance in her creative work and one that is more authentic to her true nature. Due to her struggle between the music industry demands and convictions of her heart, she decided to leave the industry for to follow her heart earning her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy working as a therapist trainee with at risk youth and a women & children homeless shelter. Crush discovered that helping just one child had more treasure than all the success she could ever dream of in the industry. She decided to do away with Crush C continuing her artistry, but under her own terms in jazz and with the new name: Elle Wilde. Crush turned Wilde, her debut single “Thinking of You” is a stripped down version of the singer without presence. Without flashy costumes or rainbow color schemes, Wilde is raw, real and finally stepping into her own.
