New York-based musician Adom has taken his career from writing and producing for other artists to crafting his signature sound. His latest release Body of Scars is a truly unique project that shows off his unique and fresh musical style. After starting his career with BOSTON, one of the top-selling rock bands with over thirty million records sold, the multi-instrumentalist launched his solo career with the hope of putting his own mark on the music industry.

Originally called Alien and released on the Italian Record label Frontiers, it was only available in the UK and Japan. From the start, it had been a battle with the label on the direction of the music. The record company wanted more of what Adom didn’t want, the traditional sound of Boston. Adom delivered a current rock-charged album that was aggressive, modern and complete opposite of the traditional classic rock albums. The album was hailed by critics as one of the best rock albums of the year, along with the band My Chemical Romance.

Body of Scars also includes two tracks written and produced by Adom for Tom Scholz of Boston called “Cryin” and “Turn it off.” The two songs were released on Boston’s Corporate America Album, then stripped of all digital and brick-and-mortar distribution shortly after due to legalities between Artemis Records and the group. Body of Scars also features Fran Cosmo former singer of Boston on lead vocals with a powerhouse performance.

The newly mastered and edited tracks are the original recorded versions written and produced by Adom. “I need to share these tracks with the entire world, the way I originally wrote and mixed them, they are a chapter in my story, a body of scars, and sometimes these scars can define who we become,” says Adom.
