Barbados lost a talented young man of the soil when Allan migrated to UK. After marriage to his “bride” Maureen they took up residence in London. There he hooked up with a local band. Not only did he play the four-string electric bass, he also sang lead vocals; pursued a career as a Rock artist. Allan’s life-long passion for music provided opportunities to travel from London to Beirut Lebanon, Cairo Egypt, Paris France, and make an appearance on a British TV talent show called “Opportunity Knocks.” But his devotion to family caused him to set aside his passion and put bread on the table. He is a cancer survivor, which is in remission for eleven years. Late 1970s saw his arrival in the USA soon to become a naturalized American Citizen. In 2012 he retired as a school bus driver from DeKalb County in Georgia. Meanwhile he obtained a bachelors degree in Human Relations from Point University graduated with a 3.84 GPA.
