Multi-award winning pop/soul artist Melanie Taylor has just released a sultry new power single, “Ink.” Amongst other pop music accolades, the San Diego native adds this to her resume, which includes a Top 40 US Indie Radio Chart placement for her first single “Cease Fire,” as well as the 2017 CES Soundtrack Artist grand-prize.
The SoCal native is a product of marathon watching Michael Jackson videos from an early age, and growing up on the stages of musical theater productions, giving the singer her powerful stage presence she has become known for. Melanie reflects that growing up as an only child and moving around a lot as a kid influenced her at an early age to look at audiences like her family, and the stage as her real home.
Melanie continues to expand her “extended family” to more and more audiences. The singer has released two full-length albums, worked with Grammy award winning producers, Christian Davis (El Debarge, Rodney Jerkins), R8DIO (Why Don’t We, Solange), and played notable venues all over the US, such as The Troubadour and The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Melanie is also involved in various programs designed for empowering women. Oh, and she’s starting her own label, “Love Harmony Music,” aimed at world domination.
