Written by Nineteen-year-old singer/songwriter Kira Rizavi has already dazzled audiences in world-famous venues like Madison Square Garden, The Metropolitan Opera and The Bitter End. Yet, just when fans think she can’t possibly rise to the top any faster, the student at the NYU Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music reaches even more dizzying heights in her new music video “Fly”.
“Fly” marks the second collaboration between Kira Rizavi and Global Media Music’s Tony Coluccio, who worked on Rizavi’s debut track “Breathe Down”, and created of over 20 Billboard Number One Dance Hit Remixes, including Beyonce’s “All The Single Ladies” and Christina Aguilera’s “Hurt.” The pop-rap anthem is not only an unabashed declaration of female independence and grit, it also showcases Kira Rizavi’s once-in-a-generation vocal dexterity.
“I think the only way to really fly is to be yourself and rise above societal expectations,” Kira Rizavi says. “I hope this song brings people the hope and confidence to do exactly that. It’s a reminder that you can take charge of your own life and be the person you aspire to be.”
The sky-high video, which features Kira Rizavi at the top of her game–and the top of a Wyoming mountain peak–was shot by Otherworldly Production’s Evan Mann.
